Saying this, Old Li turned and headed to the corner of the pharmacy, ascending the staircase there to the second floor.
Chen Yang sat by the tea table and waited for about two or three minutes before he saw Old Li coming back down with an old book, which he tossed in front of Chen Yang.
Chen Yang glanced at the book subconsciously and could tell from the cover that it seemed to be a Buddhist scripture.
Realizing this, Chen Yang was a bit surprised and couldn't help but ask, "Old Li, what is this?"
Old Li sat down with a smile that was not quite a smile and explained, "This is an old Buddhist scripture that was passed down from a foreign monk. Though I don't believe in this stuff, I recognized that it seems quite precious and have been keeping it as a treasure at home."
