Following the man's lead, Chen Yang and Xiao Cui entered a small room and saw a child lying on the bed, looking gravely ill.
Next to the child's bed, there was a woman wiping her tears.
She seemed to be the child's mother, judging by her appearance.
"Child's mother, please get up, Brother Chen Yang is here, please make some room," the man said as he entered the room, addressing the crying woman.
Upon hearing this, the woman looked up and her eyes brightened when she saw Chen Yang.
It was as if she had found her savior.
"Brother Chen Yang, please come and take a look at my child. The fever is too severe; his whole body is burning hot. I've never seen anything like this," the woman said through her tears with a crying tone.
"You all don't worry, I will check on the child right now."
Knowing the couple was anxious, Chen Yang did not delay and quickly moved to the bedside to examine the child.
