Qiangzi was young and nearly burst into tears on the spot when he heard about the tiger.
His entire face turned deathly pale, looking as though he had contracted a severe illness.
"A… a tiger… Is my mom okay?" Qiangzi asked absentmindedly.
"She's fine, staying safe at my place," Chen Yang responded as he had already pulled Qiangzi to the front door of his house.
He first cautiously peeked outside and, seeing no sign of the tiger, quickly ushered Qiangzi out.
Although Qiangzi was young, he could run quite fast and soon followed Chen Yang back to Chen Yang's home.
Everyone on the building sighed in relief when they saw Chen Yang pulling Qiangzi along.
The three women were especially overjoyed.
They hurried down from the second floor, opened the roller shutter, and let Chen Yang and Qiangzi in.
As soon as the two entered, a tearful Wang Hong rushed over and embraced Qiangzi tightly.
She sobbed uncontrollably.
"Auntie Wang, don't cry, look, Qiangzi is fine, isn't he?"
