A minute or two later, the old man came back chuckling merrily.
In his hand, he was still holding two bottles of white liquor.
"Boss Chen, it's not easy to catch you here. How about a drink?" the old man laughed.
Upon hearing this, Chen Yang almost sprayed out the tea he had just sipped.
"You better forget it. I still remember what happened last time, don't try to pull one over on me again," Chen Yang waved his hand.
The old man felt a bit awkward when Chen Yang brought up the last incident.
Trying to get Chen Yang drunk at his age...
It did seem a bit improper and indeed embarrassing.
"That's all in the past. This time I really do want to have a drink with you. You haven't been here in a long time, wouldn't it be disappointing if we don't drink something?"
As he spoke, the old man smoothly sat down beside Chen Yang, still smiling.
