Lin Shuang took her seat again.
Dong Yongping moved swiftly, instructing his subordinates to bring over another table.
"Since everyone is willing to negotiate, let's show some sincerity," Lin Shuang said, clapping her hands.
Dong Yongping respectfully presented three contracts, laying them out on the table.
"What is this?" Huang Datong asked in astonishment and suspicion.
"A peace treaty. Since we're willing to negotiate, naturally, we need to sign a treaty. Otherwise... how can it be considered negotiation?" Lin Shuang indicated placidly.
Huang Datong glanced at the treaty and sneered. "Ridiculous. What do you take us for? Signing a peace treaty?"
Xu Wenhao also scoffed.
The heads of such prominent families would never sign such a childish treaty.
But Lin Shuang, unhurried, pulled out a document and placed it in front of the two men. "You might want to take a look at this before deciding whether to sign or not."
