Liang Yaqi walked in.
She was holding Gao Yingying's hand and then glanced at Gao Jun, saying, "I've made some soup for you, have you and Yingying had dinner yet?"
Gao Jun cleared his throat and said, "I'm cooking right now, and it just so happens that Yilan is here too."
Liang Yaqi didn't seem too surprised; she walked to the kitchen doorway and glanced at Jiang Yilan inside, the two greeted each other with a nod.
"Liang."
"Yilan is here too."
Jiang Yilan explained, "I was dropping Yingying off tonight, saw Jun was a bit busy, so I thought I'd cook him a meal."
"I've also made some soup, so you guys don't need to bother about making more," Liang Yaqi replied.
Gao Jun nodded, "We'll just make something simple."
Liang Yaqi had already entered the kitchen and then said to Gao Jun, "Big man, you shouldn't stay in the kitchen, go out and play with Yingying; just leave it to me and Yilan here."
Gao Jun hesitated.
But in the end, he left with Gao Yingying in his arms.
