Gao Jun picked up Gao Yingying and brought her home.
All the way, Gao Yingying was talking about what happened at her kindergarten.
"Daddy, so many classmates cared about me," she said.
"They all asked if I'm feeling better now," she added.
"And one boy asked if I cried when I got my shot."
"Hmph, I didn't cry at all," she boasted.
Gao Jun smiled and tousled her hair before saying, "Yingying is the best."
"Of course," Gao Yingying said even more happily upon receiving Gao Jun's praise.
After thinking for a moment, she said to Gao Jun, "Daddy, was it Mrs. Liang who was holding me that night?"
"Yes, what about it?" Gao Jun asked.
Gao Yingying replied, "I feel like when Mrs. Liang holds me, it's almost the same as when you hold me."
"Isn't it all the same?" Gao Jun said, amused and bewildered.
"No, it's different. Somehow, when Mrs. Liang holds me, I just want to stick to her," Gao Yingying explained.
