Generally, it's these warriors who stay behind to cover the retreat of others. Having an Alchemist with little defensive power cover their retreat was something they were still not quite used to.
"Ade," Hansen couldn't help but speak, "why don't you leave first?"
But Fang Hong shook his head. "No need, leave it to me."
Hansen looked at him, and honestly, he felt some regret as soon as he had spoken. He was afraid that Fang Hong might just take the opportunity to agree. If they stayed behind, along with those they had already lost, the losses from this adventure would be enormous.
Still, he felt a slight apology and nodded to Fang Hong before he gestured to the others. The Halberdiers hesitated for a moment but ultimately chose to save themselves, leaving the position one by one.
It was only then that Fang Hong had the other two Walkers join the firing sequence, just barely compensating for the loss of firepower density after the others left.
