At the city gates of Coase City, each day now featured two Second-level Wizard Apprentices overseeing the gates while also manipulating the wizard formation to isolate the Fog Tide that surged from deep within the island from entering Coase City.
It should be noted that Coase City was a long-term stronghold established by Greybone Academy, and the wizard who initially constructed and arranged the defensive wizard formation was a Formal Wizard proficient in wizard formations.
Although constrained by materials and funds, that Formal Wizard could not turn Coase City into an impregnable fortress. However, with a Third-level Wizard Apprentice in charge and the assistance of several lesser Wizard Apprentices, through numerous wizard formations, Coase City still managed to withstand a Formal Wizard for some time.
