In his own room, Kou greedily eyed the Iridium Star equipment scattered all over the floor. Even with his limited education, he could recognize that these were immensely valuable alien weapons. Although he was unclear about their specific functions, this did not prevent him from knowing that these items could sell for a good price.
Kou did not consider how much power these weapons would add to his influence within the Shelter. Being a minor character and a low member of the ruling class, he believed that his own benefit was more practical than that of those above him.
"But how on Earth do I open these things?" Kou fretted, as though he were looking at a gorgeous woman but realized he lacked the means to approach her, scratching his head anxiously.
Whether it was the firearms or the Battle Armor, he found no way to open them. These alien weapons were evidently more complex than any he had encountered before.
