"You can guess something like that?" Xi Ye was skeptical.
"Do you play chess?" Lin Suqing asked him.
Xi Ye hesitated for a moment before replying honestly, "Not well."
"Each move occupies a space." Lin Suqing stood up, and as she walked past him, she patted his shoulder. Xi Ye was confused, furrowing his brow as he pondered her words.
By the time he came to his senses, Lin Suqing had already left.
"I reckon she's set up some sort of techniques in all the places she's been to." The dog leaped forcefully, clambered up onto the edge of a stool, and after settling down said, "Those techniques would be like spies she has planted."
Xi Ye turned around in surprise to look toward the door, then spun back and asked the dog sitting across from him at the table, "Really?"
"If she used Illusion Techniques, it wouldn't be difficult," the dog nodded, "If she really did so..."
