During the time Alkaid ruled the Southern Capital, he purged hundreds of merchant guilds that did not follow his orders. The territories occupied by these guilds were all confiscated by the Territory Lord's Mansion, so much so that now, in the Southern Capital that stretched over thirty thousand li, a total of six thousand li in radius were completely under the ownership of the Territory Lord's Mansion.
Out of this expanse of six thousand li, a portion was designated as public areas, which included many external shops, cave dwellings, and so forth.
However, about three thousand li were entirely stationed by members from the Nine Cauldrons Sect.
Within this three thousand li, there were hundreds of big and small mountain peaks, each inhabited by people.
Nine Heavens Peak was one among them.
And it was the tallest one.
The range of the mountain peak exceeded six hundred li.
