"My god is also very generous," Sharon hurriedly defended, but her words were not a rebuttal to the Witch of Death.
Instead, she was attempting to placate the Goddess of Death lurking in the background.
"The Goddess of Death simply does not care," the Witch of Death shook her head, speaking with an objective and calm tone, "She is a goddess who only thinks of herself and pays no mind to others."
[Who only thinks of themself? Try doing my job for a day!] An even angrier female voice echoed in Sharon's mind, making her realize she had to find a way to change the subject before she inadvertently provoked the Goddess of Death to emerge from Hell.
And if the Goddess of Death was to come to the mortal world, it would spell an irreversible disaster.
"In fact, I have come to ask you to unravel the overlap of life and death," Sharon lowered her proud head, "Please let the order of life and death be restored as usual, so the souls of the living can go to the correct world."
