"Please take a good rest." As she finished speaking, she somewhat forcefully pressed Ahtal down onto her knees.
"It's my first time seeing Mist take such initiative with a man." Michael threw a piece of wood into the firepit before them.
He chuckled at Ahtal.
"Can you tell me how you managed it?"
"Perhaps it's gratitude." Xi Mu replied uncertainly, and Michael smiled at his answer, turning his gaze to his sister.
Michael knew very well how elusive Mist was. Trusting in her absolute strength to solve all troubles, Mist had little interest in any social interaction.
In such a situation, aside from him, her brother, it was very difficult for anybody else to get close to Mist.
However, Ahtal had managed to catch Mist's attention, to the point where she was willing to offer her shoulder for him to lean on and her knees for him to rest upon.
This treatment had already gone beyond the realms of friendship.
