"Ahtal was truly a Hero," a dwarf with a thick beard placed his cup on the table.
"He didn't take any wealth, just left Gear City."
"Perhaps wealth meant nothing to him anymore," an elf at a nearby table spoke up, gently swirling his drink.
"After all, he didn't have much time to enjoy it."
The atmosphere grew silent.
They all knew too well about Ahtal's imminent death and felt a deep regret for the Hero's forthcoming demise.
"If you say Ahtal wasn't interested in wealth," the thick-bearded dwarf sighed, "then Queen Sola was… wealthy, yet had no chance to enjoy it."
He took a sip of his drink.
"Who would have thought Queen Sola would die in a battle?"
"Perhaps it was fate," another dwarf from a different table shook his head, feeling a touch of regret for the demise of Gear City's Queen Sola.
Along with yesterday's news that the immortal serpent had been successfully vanquished, there came the death of Queen Sola of Gear City.
