Suna sat elegantly at the edge of a flowerbed, gazing at the Clock Flowers blooming within. She reached out to gently touch a petal, only to see the pale yellow petal tremble and fall off, coming to the end of its life. This was not a natural phenomenon.
Ragnarok was imminent, and this world was about to be burnt into ashes, along with the petals... no, along with all known forms of life, which began to wither gradually.
The power from Ragnarok was invading this world, and the more fragile a life was, the more easily it would wither. Many frail people were quickly moving towards death, and even the physically strong were starting to feel unwell.
This was the harbinger of Ragnarok.
Only those with magic power could resist this influence, but that was all they could do; resist the influence. As time passed, they too would meet death.
