The waves rushed toward the shore, engulfing a pair of jade feet before contentedly receding.
"Ahtal, you seem unhappy," a mature and gentle female voice entered his ears, directing Xi Mu's gaze upward from the jade feet, over the slender waist and full peaks, to rest on a lovely face.
She held her wind-tousled white hair back with one hand, her ruby-like eyes reflecting Ahtal's somber expression.
"Would you like to talk about it, given that I'm somewhat of an elder?"
"It's nothing, I'm fine." Xi Mu withdrew his gaze, looking at the sun about to sink into the sea, "Madam, you should spend more time with Evelyn."
His voice was overly calm.
"You will be separated for a long time later."
