A security officer quickly ran toward the administrative hall in the center of the town.
After a few minutes, several cavalry members from the front row of Rein's team told the security officers, "Move these roadblocks for now. The pirates should not launch another attack soon."
"Hmm? Is there any new situation?" Having observed for a few minutes, the security officers could basically confirm that those in front of them were unlikely to be pirates, as the dozen cavalry members, despite being somewhat injured, were all relatively young and handsome with pearly white teeth.
Two cavalry members looked at each other and smiled. One of them turned to the officers and said, "For this, you should thank Baron Rein, as he has cleared out the pirates that were entrenched on the roads leading in and out of your town."
