On a sandy beach within the cave, a massive creature lay in deep slumber.
The creature's body was about fourteen or fifteen meters long, with thick scales the size of a palm covering its skin. Its most distinctive feature was a long, snake-like neck and a body akin to that of a turtle, giving the impression of a snake carrying a turtle shell on its back!
Additionally, each limb of the nearby plesiosaur ended in flat, paddle-like structures. Its head was small in relation to its body, merely the size of a basin, yet it possessed fine, sharp teeth and a hard beak.
Moreover, Rein observed a long sword wound on the creature's side. If he wasn't mistaken, this must have been left by Master Ganther!
However, judging by the destructive power of the wound, it seemed that Master Ganther could have easily killed the plesiosaur. Hence, the reason for leaving it alive must have been for training purposes.
