On stage, there was laughter and harmony, once again showcasing the camaraderie between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. The atmosphere could not have been more jovial.
For the League, everything could not have been more perfect: enemies on the field, friends off the field. This was the public relations image the League hoped to see.
However, for the reporters, this was somewhat disappointing.
Though they hadn't expected the two sides to come to blows or hurl insults spectacularly—if that had happened, they would have welcomed it with open arms and legs—but there should have been at least some sparks, not like a sorority tea party where they sat complimenting each other while sipping tea with fingers crooked.
