Chapter 7 - A Goddess?!

After having been dismissed by Chief Lorak both Abel and Jacob were currently heading towards his new home for the next several days he guessed. A home belonging to none other than Jacob and his family.

"So, Jacob, was it? What is your wife like? I briefly met Astra while going to the washroom and she was especially nice. In more way that one." He wasn't exactly subtle in his words, but Jacob seemed completely oblivious thinking about his lovely wife.

Jacob released a sigh of contentment as pleasant memories came rushing into his mind. "She...is simply amazing Mister Abel. She is an Angel reincarnated in a human form."

Abel watched closely at the man's expression gaining a small frown not liking his face at that moment. "An Angel you say? That's some pretty high praise in describing someone Jacob. She must be an amazing woman."

Jacob merely nodded and continued to praise his woman and mother of his child. "I'm not exaggerating Mister Abel. If you even had a fraction of my memories, you would also not hesitate to mark her as such. I honestly don't deserve her but I'm thankful God has rewarded me with someone I would do anything for."

Suddenly Jacob stopped in his tracks and stared at Abel with a fierce expression before dropping his entire body to the floor as his head landed squarely on the dirt ground.

"Please forgive me if I have made you feel like an enemy Mister Abel. The truth is that without you killing the beast I would never have the chance to see my wife and daughter again. She wouldn't even have a body to bury..." His voice became deathly silent at the idea of being eaten whole, leaving both his daughter and wife to fend for themselves.

Abel watched the proud warrior begin to silently weep as no doubt memories of a future he wasn't there for his wife and daughter bombarded him with a swiftness.

A sadness filled him as well as his mind raced at the idea of someone loving someone else so much to be reduced to this. It reminded him that he didn't have anyone even remotely close to that. He didn't even have someone to call a friend after all.

Shaking those depressing thoughts away he began to slowly walk again. "It's alright Jacob. I am a stranger to you all after all. A stranger that saved all your lives but still a stranger nonetheless."

Abel watched the previously weeping warrior begin to rise and sweep his clothing from the dirt it had accumulated. He then looked at his own body and frowned as he was still walking around in nothing but some rag that barely did anything to hide his huge penis.

"On a completely unrelated note, when in the hell will I get something that actually covers my body? My chest is cold you know." He chuckled making Jacob smile as well.

Joining in his steps, Jacob clasped his hand on Abel's huge back and reassured him. "That's already in the process of being made Mister Abel. Tomorrow, I will take you to the local blacksmith when I show you around the village. He should have something ready for you."

Abel nodded pleased that he was finally going to cover himself up properly. It didn't take them too long to reach Jacob's home.

It certainly wasn't as large as the Chiefs own home, but it was still a respectable size. Clearly warriors were paid well in this village if this was the house he had.

Jacob firmly opened the front door already knowing it would be empty. "Please come in Mister Abel. Both my wife and daughter are not here at the moment."

Abel didn't hesitate and made his way through the small wooden door as he took in the also modest interior of the house. It had all the necessities you would expect like beds a washroom and a kitchen.

He turned his attention back to Jacob noticing he had not moved from the door. "Where are they.?" He realized that it could be seen as rude to want to find out where his special people were but perhaps, he would still get an answer. Which he did.

Jacob didn't seem to mind whatsoever. "My wife Sophie is currently working at the farm. We will visit that place tomorrow as we go around the village. My daughter Zoe though is at school. It is still somewhat early in the day after all. It will be several hours before they return."

Abel nodded taking in the information in stride. "Are you leaving Jacob? I noticed you haven't fully entered your house."

Jacob smiled and answered him. "Yeah, sorry but I still have to do my job. Dangerous things lurk around the village, and it is my duty to protect my home and family."

Abel watched the man's determined face exit his home leaving him with only his thoughts for company. He then turned his eyes back to the house and spotted some beds. One of which was clearly for Jacob and his wife Sophie while the other for his daughter. He had already forgotten the name the Jacob had just given him.

He decided on laying down on the daughter's bed feeling a sudden disgust at the thought of laying in the same bed both Jacob and Sophie had no doubt fucked countless times.

A small sigh escaped his lips as his body felt the softness of the bed. It had been two weeks since he had awakened in this world with no memories of his past. Nothing that even remotely gave him a hint on who he was and what he should be doing.

After sleeping on the cold hard ground for the past two weeks it didn't take long before he succumbed to the beds comfort and drifted to sleep.

However, the very next second his senses were filled with pleasant scents all around him. Somehow, he was able to open his eyes even though he was supposed to be asleep and what he saw left him speechless.

He couldn't describe the woman that was staring at him with an almost obsessed devotion in her bright red eyes. It seemed like everything that made a woman beautiful in his eyes this woman contained in spades. She was the literal embodiment of a Goddess.

The unknown woman's previous expression softened as her bright red eyes closed as she began to gently smile. "Finally...you have returned to me...my Husband."
