Huff... Huff... Huff...
"Looks like the bleeding stopped," said Javier; as Felizch was lying down, he slowly but carefully sat back up, aware of the rough terrain they were traveling in.
"Woah woah, lie down, kiddo. We don't want to strain you," said Javier as he tried to support Felizch into lying down. Felizch gently pushed Javier away and shook his head. "Huff... Huff... I'm... Fine.... Now.... "
Felizch replies whilst gasping for air after each word.
Javier deeply sighs, knowing that there is no stopping Felizch; he pulls out an injection from his pocket and hands it over to Felizch. The boy stared at the mysterious fluid in the injection and stared at Javier, "Just use it... "
said Javier, "You're not trying to poison me are you?" Felizch asked jokingly.
Javier sighs heavily, "Just inject it into your traps, smart ass." Felizch takes another look at the injection...
There is no refusing... If I ever did, he's just going to forcefully inject me anyway...
...cough cough
Felizch grabs the injection and injects it into his wound... after a while, a numb sensation rushes through his veins; Javier takes out his flask and gives it to Felizch, "Take a sip; this will help with the aftershock." Felizch took his small aluminum flask and chugged the entire flask.
"Hey, I said take a sip, not down the whole bottle!" He shouted at Felizch; Felizch rubbed his lips after he chugged Javier's only source of water.
"You didn't specify smartass"
"What do you mean I didn't specify?! I just asked for you to take a sip not down the flask!"
To be honest... I think he mixed some rum in here.
Felizch looks at the deserted trenches as they arrive closer to Switzen, the smell of ash envelops the place, slowly suffocating them as they approach closer to the mansion.
I wonder what this place was like before this calamity struck.
...Neigh! The horse from the other carriage wailed.
"What's wrong!" Javier shouted; he got out of the carriage and went to the other carriage to check out the blockade; as he went closer, the smell of ash grew stronger. Javier looked at what's in front of him and he was shook... He stared deeply at the blockade and was at a loss for words.
"Hey, you good there?!" Asked Felizch; he got out of the carriage with his rifle; as he walked to the other carriage, he saw Javier trembling in fear as he dropped his rifle. He then shifts his vision to the blockade, and the smell of ash turns to a stench of rotting rubbish.
What the hell...
What kind of monster...
Could've done this!
The scorching sound of flames desecrating the hundreds of corpses wearing an Exile uniform, be it women or men... young and old... beautiful and ugly, no one was spared. Those ugly faces were forever engraved in their screams as the flames caused the ashes to harden as they continued burning.
Felizch brutally scratches his nails on the rocky surface, repeatedly grabbing small chunks of debris, as his finger slowly starts bleeding. He repeatedly smashes the ground as he weeps for his dead brothers.
"You bastards... When I get my hands on them, I will kill them! I'll fucking kill them again and again until they cease to exist! And if for some God-forsaken reason they reach the pearly gates, I will make their peaceful experience a living hell!"
Javier looks and Felizch and grips his shoulders tightly, "Hey, snap out of it... Felizch...?" Javier looks at Felizch's current state. He viewed him as if he wasn't human anymore. His pupils spiral due to rage, forming a triangular shape as he slowly grows fangs not visible to the naked eye. The coachman tries to approach Felizch and attempts to pat his shoulder, "Hey you-"
Swisshhh...
Felizch swipes with his wounded arm, which miraculously healed as he rips off the fabric in his leather coat, with a feral expression
Gnarl!
He jumped to the coachman with his hands wrapped around his neck as he prepared to eat him, "Hey, you soldier, please, save me!"
Javier snaps out of it and fumbles as he tries to grab ahold of his pistol, he's trembling as he struggles to aim the pistol at the feral boy. Such a light pistol yet so heavy...
"Felizch, let go of the old man!" The other soldiers from the carriage aim their guns at Felizch and order him, "Felizch, let go of him." Javier sheds a tear while he struggles to gain the pistol at Felizch's head.
"Felizch, I'll count to three if you don't let go of him this instant!"
One...! Felizch drools over the coachman ready to savor his meal.
Two! Felizch grips the old man's squishy neck tightly slowly wounding him in the process.
Graaagh! Bang bang!
Two shots were fired; one shot missed and put a hole in the carriage, but the other shot grazed Felizch's ear. The feral boy looks at Javier with confusion; his eyes are like a stormy ocean... but a gentle river is flowing within those purple eyes.
"You... shot me..."
Felizch starts chuckling... And slowly, he starts laughing hysterically, "What the hell, Javier?!" The other soldiers never kept their guard down and continued to aim at Felizch; the sane soldier ordered him, "Felizch, let go of the coachman!" Felizch looks at his hands, covered in blood, as the coachman gasps for air.
"What the hell's is the meaning of this... I get it now; it must be that stupid injection you drugged me, you fucking bastard!" Felizch takes a step ready to lunge at Javier.
"Halt!" Shouted a man from a distance; everyone's vision shifted to the man wearing an officer cap and the people behind him, ranging from thousands of soldiers wearing the exile uniform. "Javier, I left you for 2 days and here you are shooting your comrades."
Javier, trembling from his overwhelming presence, drops his weapon, shaking, as he stands up to salute the soldiers around them and shout, "General Lindenhurst!" Lin scans the current situation and looks at Felizch.
"Well, I suppose you're Felizch?" Felizch stands up and replies with a crazy tone, "Yeah, that's me... And before you ask again, just Felizch." Lin chuckles,
"Well my, you have a sense of humor for a feral dog."
"I'm no dog, and at least I don't have a weird fetish carrying all those dolls wrapped around you!" Lin slightly chuckles,
Pwooshhh...
Felizch's vision slowly blurs, and he loses any feeling in his legs as he looks at the dart on his neck, and he drops dead to the ground.
"Well, now that the dog is leashed shall we go through the mountain of corpses there? I don't want to stare at such a disgusting sight for a longer period." Said the General while smiling gently.
The soldiers get ready to go back to the carriage while Javier carries Felizch back to the carriage. Galloping is heard approaching Javier's carriage, and he looks in the direction where the sound is coming from.
"Javier!" called Luna as he approached their carriage, "How's Felizch?" He asked worriedly, "Doing worse than expected... He just went feral again. Can't you guys just find a cure for this already!"
Hyah!
The coachman shouted as they went around the mountain of corpses; Luna rode next to Javier's carriage and told him with a down expression, "If this keeps on happening... We might have to kill Felizch." Javier stared deeply into Luna's soul and, "What did you say?"
Luna sighed, "We might ha-" Javier shouted, "I heard you loud and clear! I just can't comprehend what you said..." Luna, "General Lindenhurst and I talked about this earlier. One more outburst from Felizch, and we're going to have to kill him for good."
"But, why... Felizch is our family! Your family too Luna! You can't just agree to this nonsense and not fight back!"
"You think I didn't try convincing the General, you think all I did was listen and follow orders like a fucking monkey?! I tried my hardest to convince the general but all he remembers is the mass-"
"Don't even mention that! I want to forget everything that happened that day..."
Luna sighed, "I'm... sorry about Lilian... She should've grown up to be a decent doctor like her mother."
Javier shifts his vision to Felizch and sheds a tear, "He can grow up to be a decent chef."
The skies transition to a gray color, and it starts to pour; Javier rubs his forehead as tears drop in Javier's eyes.
Luna, while trembling, says, "Hey looser, you're not crying, aren't you?" Javier hysterically laughs and responds, "Of course not, dumbass, it's just the rain; you're the one that's crying!" Both of these men thought of Felizch's future as an adult. They don't want him to die.
Felizch slowly wakes up in Javier's lap and notices the wrinkles on Javier's face. He says with a raspy tone, "You bastards cryin'?" Felizch laughs at them and shouts, "Hey everyone we got two large cry babies here! " Javier slaps the back of Felizch's head.
"Dumbass, can't you see its raining!"
Felizch looks at the sky and notices the scent of dusty laden; surprised, he says enthusiastically, "It really is raining! Hey, check it out. It's raining!" he laughed at the rain as he looks at Javier and Luna.
"Did I hear crying?" Said the Commander who was walking alongside them from afar,
he has a well-shaved beard and medium brown hair and is wearing an officer cap.
Felizch looks at Johann full of delight in his eyes, "Johann! Long time no see, can't you believe these two bastards were crying just now!"
"For real! They're the last people I know who would act so sentimental; well, beware, my dear Felizch, and don't be like these old fossils. They're just going through a phase, that's all!" Said Johann while hysterically laughing after every word
Javier and Luna both shouted, "We weren't crying for fucks sake!" The both of them stared at each other and shouted, "Jinx!"
The General who was in front slowed down a little bit and rode next to them while playing with his dolls.
"Cough cough ehem... Sorry for breaking the family reunion, my friends, but it seems that we're at Krugerville; in other words, we're at Switzen Port."
Felizch's enthusiastic look fades as he looks at the terrifying view of Krugerville, the demolition of countless of shelters and the never ending fire scattered around the area. He looks at some of the dead trees to see people who've lost it all and hung themselves for a more painless death than being torn limb for limb by the caines.
The scent of ash tightens the lungs as some of the soldiers rapidly cough blood by the mere presence of the place, Felizch looks at the mansion determined to reclaim what was once theirs. And most importantly
"I will get revenge for all the lives they've ruined."
