Chapter 71 - Chapter 70

As Lunamon, Bell, and I made our way back to the Hestia Familia headquarters, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast between our conditions. While Lunamon and I were barely winded from our expedition, Bell looked absolutely exhausted, his steps heavy and his face flushed.

"You did good out there, Bell," I said, giving him an encouraging pat on the back. "But don't worry, it'll get easier with time and practice."

Bell managed a weary smile. "Thanks, David. I just...I have a long way to go, don't I?"

I chuckled. "Hey, Rome wasn't built in a day. You're already leagues ahead of where you started. With Lunamon and me by your side, you're going to be unstoppable."

Lunamon nodded in agreement, her soft voice soothing. "David is right, Bell. You have shown great potential, and we are here to help you grow stronger."

As we approached the grand entrance to the Hestia Familia headquarters, the large wooden doors swung open, and there stood Hestia, our beloved goddess, her eyes shining with excitement.

"Welcome back, my children!" she exclaimed, rushing forward to embrace us. Her gaze immediately fell on Bell, and her expression shifted to one of concern. "Oh, Bell, you look absolutely exhausted! Come, come, let's get you inside and resting."

I couldn't help but chuckle at Hestia's motherly fussing. "He did great, Hestia," I assured her. "Lunamon and I were there to watch his back."

Hestia's eyes narrowed, and she fixed me with a pointed stare. "And what about you two? You're not even breaking a sweat!"

I shrugged, grinning sheepishly. "We only stopped at the 5th floor. The enemies there are too weak for us."

Hestia leaned in close, whispering conspiratorially in my ear. "David, Bell has just joined our Familia. I think it's time we show him our secret."

I thought about it for a moment, then nodded in approval.

Here is the continuation of the story from the perspective of David Miller, following the provided instructions:

I turned to Bell, my expression serious. "Bell, what I'm about to show you is a closely guarded secret of the Hestia Familia. You must promise me that you will never reveal it to anyone outside our Familia."

Bell's eyes widened, and he swallowed hard. "I-I promise, David. I won't tell a soul."

Satisfied with his response, I nodded and opened a shimmering portal before us. "Then follow me."

Hestia, Lunamon, and I stepped through the portal, and Bell hesitantly followed. The familiar sights and sounds of Orario faded, and we found ourselves in a bustling city, towering skyscrapers reaching for the sky.

"Welcome to Earth, Bell," I said, gesturing around us. "This is my home world, and the secret of the Hestia Familia."

I watched as Bell's eyes widened in awe, his mouth falling open as he took in the towering skyscrapers and bustling city around us. "Where...where are we?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

I placed a hand on his shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. "This, Bell, is my home world. Welcome to Earth." I gestured broadly, indicating the unfamiliar landscape. "It's a far cry from Orario, isn't it?"

Bell nodded slowly, still seeming overwhelmed. "I...I don't understand. How is this possible?" He turned to me, brow furrowed. "Are we...are we in another world?"

I smiled reassuringly. "That's exactly right. This is a secret that the Hestia Familia has kept for a long time - we have the ability to travel between our world and this one, Earth." I paused, letting that sink in. "Hestia thought it was time you knew the truth."

"Another world?!" Bell exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief. "How is that possible?"

I chuckled, placing a hand on his shoulder. "It's a long story, Bell, but the short version is that I have the power to travel between different worlds. This place, where we're standing right now, is called Earth. It's my home."

Bell's gaze darted around, taking in the towering buildings and bustling streets. "Earth... It's so different from Orario."

Hestia said mischievously, "Surprised?"

"Yes...Kami-sama. I can't believe this is another world..." said Bell, his voice filled with wonder.

I chuckled, "I know, it's a lot to take in, isn't it? But don't worry, you're in good hands. Hestia and I will make sure you get the grand tour of Earth." I glanced at Hestia, a mischievous glint in my eye. "Right, Kami-sama?"

Hestia beamed, clapping her hands together. "Absolutely! There's so much for you to see and experience, Bell. This is going to be an adventure like no other!"

Since it is Bell's first time on Earth and he just joined the Hestia Familia, I suggested we grab some sushi. Hestia and Lunamon were both excited at the prospect, but Bell looked a bit confused.

"Sushi? What is that?" he asked, his brow furrowed.

I grinned and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Bell, you're about to find out. Trust me, you're going to love it."

Hestia bounced excitedly, her eyes shining. "Ooh, I can't wait! I've heard so much about sushi from David, but I've never tried it before."

Lunamon, who was nestled in Hestia's arms, peered up at us curiously. "Sushi? Is it some kind of food from this world?"

"That's right, Lunamon," I replied, giving her a gentle pat on the head. "It's a traditional Japanese dish made with rice, raw fish, and other ingredients. It's absolutely delicious."

Bell still looked a bit skeptical, but there was a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. "Raw fish? I've never heard of such a thing. Are you sure it's safe to eat?"

I chuckled and gave him a reassuring smile. "Absolutely. Sushi is perfectly safe and incredibly tasty. Just wait until you try it, Bell. I promise you won't be disappointed."

Hestia clapped her hands together, her expression beaming. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go get some sushi!"

I nodded and gestured for the group to follow me. "Right this way, my friends. I know just the place."

As we made our way through the bustling streets of Earth, I couldn't help but glance down at Lunamon, who was nestled comfortably in Hestia's arms, looking for all the world like a plush toy. I leaned in and whispered, "Remember, Lunamon, you need to act like a stuffed animal while we're out in public. We don't want to draw any unwanted attention."

Lunamon nodded, her large eyes blinking up at me. "Understood, David. I will be as still and quiet as a stuffed toy."

Satisfied, I turned my attention back to the task at hand, leading the way to my favorite sushi restaurant. As we approached the unassuming storefront, I could see Bell's eyes widen with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

"This is it," I announced, gesturing towards the entrance. "Get ready, Bell, for the best sushi you've ever tasted."

I led the group into the sushi restaurant, the familiar scents of fresh seafood and vinegared rice filling the air. Approaching the hostess, I requested a private room, hoping to give Bell, Hestia, and Lunamon a more comfortable experience for their first taste of sushi.

"Right this way, sir," the hostess said, guiding us through the bustling dining area to a secluded room towards the back. As we stepped inside, I could see the awe and curiosity on my companions' faces as they took in the serene, traditional decor.

"This is perfect," I said, gesturing for them to have a seat around the low table. "Alright, let's order up some sushi and give you all a proper introduction to this delicacy."

I flagged down a server and began rattling off an assortment of rolls and nigiri, making sure to include a variety of flavors and textures. Tuna, salmon, yellowtail, shrimp - I wanted them to experience the full breadth of what sushi had to offer.

As the server departed to place our order, I turned to my friends, a grin spreading across my face. "Alright, you three, prepare your taste buds. This is going to be a real treat."

Hestia's eyes sparkled with excitement, while Bell still looked a bit apprehensive. Lunamon, nestled in Hestia's lap, gazed up at me with her large, inquisitive eyes.

"I must admit, I'm a little nervous," Bell confessed, his brow furrowed. "This 'sushi' sounds quite unusual. Are you sure it's safe to eat?"

I reached over and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Trust me, Bell. Once you try it, you're going to be hooked. Sushi is one of the most delicious and healthy foods you'll ever taste."

Before long, the server returned, carefully placing plate after plate of beautifully arranged sushi in the center of the table. The vibrant colors and tantalizing aromas had my mouth watering in anticipation.

"Alright, my friends," I said, picking up a pair of chopsticks and demonstrating their proper use. "Dig in and let me know what you think."

Hestia was the first to reach for a piece, her eyes widening as she brought it to her lips. I watched, holding my breath, as she took that first tentative bite. Suddenly, her face lit up, and she let out a delighted squeal.

"Oh, David, this is simply divine!" she exclaimed, already reaching for another piece. "The flavors are so fresh and delicate. I can't believe I've been missing out on this all this time!"

Lunamon, emboldened by Hestia's enthusiasm, carefully picked up a small piece of tuna nigiri and popped it into her mouth. Her eyes grew wide, and she let out a contented sigh.

"Mmm, this is wonderful," she said, her voice soft and wonder-filled. "The fish is so tender, and the rice is perfectly seasoned. I can see why you humans enjoy this so much."

I chuckled, turning my gaze to Bell, who still seemed a bit hesitant. "Come on, Bell, don't be shy. Give it a try."

Tentatively, Bell reached for a California roll, carefully bringing it to his lips. I watched as his expression shifted from apprehension to pure delight, his eyes widening in surprise.

"Wow, this is...this is amazing!" he said, quickly reaching for another piece. "The flavors are so fresh and vibrant. I can't believe I've never tried this before."

As the three of them eagerly devoured the sushi, I leaned back, a satisfied smile spreading across my face. I was thrilled to see them enjoying this new culinary experience, and I knew this was just the beginning of the wonders I could show them in this world.
