Chapter 68 - Chapter 67

As Hestia eagerly dragged Bell down the hall, I quickened my pace to catch up with them. I could see the nervousness in Bell's expression, but there was also a glimmer of excitement in his crimson eyes.

"Alright, Hestia, slow down a bit," I called out, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Let's not overwhelm the poor guy, huh?"

Hestia paused, turning to me with a sheepish smile. "Oh, you're right, David-kun. I'm just so excited to show Bell everything!"

I chuckled and gave her a reassuring nod. "I know, I know. But let's take it one step at a time, okay?" I turned my attention to Bell, offering him a warm smile. "Don't worry, Bell. We're going to give you the grand tour, but we'll make sure to go at a pace you're comfortable with."

Bell returned my smile, some of the tension leaving his shoulders. "Thank you, David. I appreciate that."

"Wonderful!" Hestia exclaimed, practically bouncing on the balls of her feet. "Alright, let's start with the main living area. I'm sure you'll love it!"

As Hestia led us into a spacious, well-furnished room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. This was the heart of our Familia's headquarters, and it was a far cry from the abandoned church we had started with.

"Wow..." Bell breathed, his eyes wide as he took in the surroundings. "This is incredible."

"Isn't it?" Hestia beamed, gesturing around the room. "We've worked hard to make this place feel like a real home. And just wait until you see the rest!"

I chuckled, placing a hand on Bell's shoulder. "Come on, let me introduce you to the rest of the Familia."

As we made our way through the halls, I could see Bell's eyes darting around, taking in every detail. When we reached the common area, I spotted Lunamon and the Minions engaged in a heated game of Monopoly.

"Hey, guys!" I called out, drawing their attention. "I've got someone I want you all to meet."

The Minions immediately perked up, abandoning their game to gather around us. Lunamon approached, her large eyes filled with curiosity.

"This is Bell Cranel," I announced, placing a hand on Bell's back. "He's the newest member of the Hestia Familia."

Bell blinked in surprise, but then a warm smile spread across his face. "It's wonderful to meet all of you," he said, his voice soft and sincere.

The Minions erupted in a chorus of excited chatter, their little arms waving enthusiastically. Lunamon stepped forward, tilting her head to the side.

"Welcome to the Familia, Bell," she said, her voice gentle. "I'm Lunamon, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you."

Bell's eyes widened as he took in Lunamon's appearance, but then his smile only grew brighter. "It's an honor to meet you, Lunamon. I can't wait to learn more about you and the rest of the Familia."

I watched with a sense of pride as Bell interacted with the Minions and Lunamon, his kind nature shining through. They seemed to instantly take to him, and I had a feeling he was going to fit in just fine.

"Ah, there you are, David-kun!" a familiar voice called out.

I turned to see Phineas and Ferb approaching, their expressions bright and eager.

"Phineas, Ferb, great timing," I said, gesturing to Bell. "This is Bell Cranel, the newest member of the Hestia Familia. Bell, these are Phineas and Ferb, two of our most valuable members."

Bell's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the two young boys. "It's wonderful to meet you both," he said, his voice filled with awe. "I've heard so much about your incredible inventions."

Phineas beamed, stepping forward to shake Bell's hand. "It's great to meet you too, Bell! We're so excited to have you join the Familia. Wait until you see what we've been working on."

Ferb offered Bell a warm smile and a nod, and I could see the gears turning in Bell's mind as he processed all the new faces and information.

"Alright, alright, that's enough introductions for now," Hestia interjected, placing a hand on Bell's arm. "Why don't we take you to the armory next? I'm sure you're eager to see what kind of equipment we have."

Bell nodded, his expression brightening. "Yes, I'd love that. Thank you, Hestia-sama."

As Hestia led Bell away, I couldn't help but smile. The Hestia Familia was growing, and I had a feeling that with Bell on board, we were about to embark on some incredible adventures.

I turned to Phineas and Ferb, gesturing for them to follow. "Come on, you two. Let's go see what kind of new gear we can outfit Bell with."

The boys eagerly fell into step beside me, their minds already buzzing with ideas. As we made our way to the armory, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the future. With this team, I knew there was no challenge we couldn't face.

In the armory, the walls were lined with an impressive array of weapons, armor, and other adventuring gear. Bell's eyes widened as he took it all in, his fingers tracing the intricate designs of a particularly ornate sword.

"Wow, this is incredible," he breathed, his voice filled with wonder.

Hestia beamed, stepping up beside him. "I'm so glad you like it, Bell. We've been working hard to build up our resources, and we're always looking for new and innovative equipment."

I nodded, gesturing to Phineas and Ferb. "That's where these two come in. They're the ones responsible for a lot of the specialized gear you see here."

Phineas grinned, stepping forward. "That's right! We're always tinkering and experimenting, trying to come up with the best possible tools for our Familia."

I watched as Bell's eyes widened in awe, his fingers tracing the intricate designs of the sword Phineas and Ferb had crafted for him.

"This is incredible," he breathed, his voice filled with wonder. "I've never seen anything like it."

Hestia beamed, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We're so glad you like it, Bell. Phineas and Ferb are the ones responsible for all of this specialized gear."

I nodded, turning to the two young inventors. "Speaking of which, do you think you could put together some basic equipment for Bell? Something to get him started, you know?"

Phineas grinned, already brimming with ideas. "You got it, David! We've got just the thing in mind."

Hestia, however, looked slightly concerned. "But why not just give him the high-end stuff? Wouldn't that be better?"

I placed a reassuring hand on her arm. "Well, Hestia, the way I see it, if we give Bell the best of the best right off the bat, he might become too reliant on the equipment. We want him to have a solid foundation first, to really grow and develop his own skills."

Hestia considered my words, nodding slowly. "I suppose that makes sense. We want Bell to be able to hold his own, not just rely on fancy gear."

"Exactly," I said, offering her a smile. "And Phineas and Ferb are the perfect ones to outfit him with the basics. That way, he can focus on building up his strength and abilities."

Phineas and Ferb had already set to work, gathering various materials and tools. "Alright, Bell!" Phineas called out. "Let's get you kitted out with some top-notch adventuring gear."

Bell watched in fascination as the two boys worked, their hands moving with incredible speed and precision. Within minutes, they had crafted a set of lightweight armor that covered Bell's vital areas, as well as a sturdy sword and dagger.

"There we go!" Phineas exclaimed, presenting the equipment to Bell. "This should give you a great starting point, but don't worry, we'll be upgrading it as you grow stronger."

Bell carefully picked up the sword, testing its balance and weight. "This is amazing," he said, his eyes shining. "I don't know how to thank you all."

I placed a hand on his shoulder, offering him an encouraging smile. "You don't need to thank us, Bell. This is your home now, and we're all family here."

Hestia nodded in agreement, her expression warm and welcoming. "That's right, Bell. You're one of us now, and we're going to do everything we can to help you succeed."

Bell's eyes glistened with emotion, and he quickly wiped away a stray tear. "I'm so grateful," he said, his voice thick with gratitude. "I've applied to other Familias, but they all rejected me. I never thought I'd find a place like this."

My heart ached at his words, and I pulled him into a reassuring hug. "Well, you're here now, Bell. And this is where you belong."

As we embraced, I could feel the weight of his worries lifting, replaced by a sense of belonging and acceptance. This was his family now, and we were going to do everything in our power to help him grow and thrive.
