Loki, the mischievous goddess, lounged on the plush sofa in her grand Twilight Manor, her long limbs flailing in frustration. The usually vibrant and energetic deity was uncharacteristically confined to her abode, much to her chagrin.
"This is so boring!" Loki whined, throwing her head back dramatically. "Why can't I go out and have some fun?"
The sound of Loki's petulant complaint caught the attention of Riveria, the Familia's vice-captain, who entered the room with a stern expression.
"Loki, you know very well why you can't leave right now," Riveria said, her tone firm yet patient. "We have new recruits that need training, and everyone is occupied with that task. I can't spare anyone to guard you."
Loki's crimson eyes narrowed as she pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. "But Riveria, I'm the Familia leader! I should be able to do whatever I want."
Riveria sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You know that's not how it works, Loki. Your safety and the well-being of the Familia come first. I'm sure you can find something to occupy yourself here."
Loki's pout deepened, and she flopped dramatically onto the sofa, her long hair fanning out around her. "This is so unfair! I'm bored out of my mind, and I want to go out and play."
Riveria observed Loki's childlike tantrum, her expression softening slightly. "I understand your frustration, Loki, but this is for the good of the Familia. Perhaps you could use this time to plan some new strategies or..."
Loki suddenly spotted a small, yellow figure outside the mansion gates, catching her attention. The guards had stopped the peculiar creature, and Loki could see it was holding a letter. Intrigued, Loki rose from the sofa, her crimson eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"Riveria, look at that," Loki said, nodding towards the gates. "What do you suppose that is?"
Riveria followed Loki's gaze, her brow furrowing slightly. "I'm not sure, but it seems the guards have stopped it. We should go see what's happening."
With a flourish, Loki strode towards the entrance, Riveria trailing behind her. As they approached the gates, the guards snapped to attention, their weapons at the ready.
"What's going on here?" Loki demanded, her voice laced with a hint of impatience.
One of the guards stepped forward, his expression wary. "Goddess Loki, we've encountered a strange creature outside the gates. It appears to be holding some kind of letter, but we don't know what it wants."
Loki's gaze shifted to the small, yellow figure, and a mischievous smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "Well, then, let's find out, shall we?"
She gestured for the guards to step aside, and they hesitantly complied. Loki approached the creature, tilting her head curiously. "And what might you be, little one?"
The Minion, recognizing Loki as a goddess, quickly held out the letter, its large eyes filled with a mixture of nervousness and excitement.
Loki plucked the letter from the Minion's outstretched hand, her long fingers tracing the elegant script on the envelope. "Well, well, what do we have here?"
Riveria stepped up beside Loki, her gaze fixed on the Minion. "Loki, I don't think we should be interfering with whatever this creature is delivering. It could be important."
Loki waved a dismissive hand, her attention focused on the letter. "Nonsense, Riveria. I'm the Familia leader, and I should be the first to know what's going on."
With a flourish, Loki broke the seal and unfolded the letter, her eyes scanning the contents. A mischievous grin slowly spread across her face as she read.
"Well, well, it seems our young friend David has invited us to a welcome party at his new headquarters," Loki announced, her voice filled with amusement.
Riveria's brow furrowed. "David? The same David who is a member of Hestia's Familia?"
Loki nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "The very same. And it appears he's gathered quite a few new members for his Familia."
The Minion, sensing an opportunity, let out a series of excited chatters, drawing Loki's attention.
"And what do you have to do with all of this, little one?" Loki asked, her gaze fixed on the Minion.
The Minion responded with a flurry of gestures and gibberish, and Loki's eyes widened with delight.
"Oh, this is going to be fun," Loki purred, her lips curving into a mischievous smile.
Riveria sighed, knowing that look all too well. "Loki, what are you planning?"
Loki turned to the guards, her voice brimming with excitement. "Prepare the Familia. We're going to pay a visit to the Hestia Familia's new headquarters."
Loki gathered her most trusted Familia members - Finn, Gareth, Riveria, Aiz, Tiona, Tione, Lefiya, and Bete - in the grand hall of Twilight Manor. The group looked at their leader with varying expressions, waiting for her to explain the reason behind this sudden meeting.
Finn, the Familia's captain, stepped forward, his calm demeanor belying the curiosity in his eyes. "Loki, what's going on? Why have you gathered us here?"
Loki's lips curled into a mischievous smile as she held up the letter in her hand. "Our dear friend David, the newest member of the Hestia Familia, has invited us to a welcome party at their newly renovated headquarters."
Gareth's brow furrowed slightly. "David? The same young man that fought Bete?"
Loki nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "The very one. It seems he's been quite busy, and he's eager for us to see what he and his Familia have accomplished."
Aiz, the Sword Princess, remained silent, her expression neutral, but Tiona and Tione exchanged a glance, their faces lit up with interest.
"A party, huh?" Tiona said, a grin spreading across her face. "Sounds like fun!"
Tione nodded in agreement, her gaze shifting to Finn. "What do you think, Captain? Are we going?"
Finn considered the invitation, his expression thoughtful. "It could be an interesting opportunity to learn more about this David and his Familia. And it wouldn't hurt to show our support, given their recent accomplishments."
Lefiya, who had been standing quietly in the back, spoke up, her voice hesitant. "But... do we really need to go? I mean, it's the Hestia Familia, and they're..." She trailed off, her cheeks flushing slightly.
Bete, ever the vocal critic, scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "Tch, why should we waste our time with a bunch of weaklings? It's not like they're worth our attention."
Loki shot Bete a playful glare. "Now, now, Bete, don't be so quick to dismiss them. After all, David did manage to defeat the Goliath, and that's no small feat, even for one of our own."
Bete's eyes narrowed, and he opened his mouth to retort, but Finn raised a hand, silencing him.
"Regardless of our personal opinions, I believe it would be prudent to accept this invitation," Finn said, his gaze sweeping across the group. "We may be able to learn something from our visit, and it would be rude to decline such a generous offer."
Loki clapped her hands together, a gleam of excitement in her eyes. "Excellent! Then it's settled. We'll all be paying a visit to the Hestia Familia's new headquarters."
Riveria sighed, already anticipating the potential chaos that could ensue, while Lefiya fidgeted nervously, her mind filled with thoughts of the ever-confident Aiz Wallenstein.
Lefiya approached Aiz, her heart racing with a mixture of trepidation and hope. "Aiz," she began, her voice soft, "the Hestia Familia is having a party, and they've invited us to attend. Would you... would you be interested in going?"
Aiz turned to Lefiya, her pale gold eyes meeting the elf's emerald gaze. "Yes, I think I would be interested in attending," she replied, her voice calm and measured.
Lefiya felt her heart sink at Aiz's words. Of course the Sword Princess would want to go – she was always eager to learn more about other adventurers and their Familias. Lefiya couldn't help but blame David for this, for inviting the Loki Familia and putting Aiz in a position to be near him.
Lefiya's hands clenched into fists at her sides as a surge of jealousy and resentment welled up within her. David, with his unique abilities and rapid growth, had already caught Aiz's attention. Now, he was going to have the chance to interact with her even more at this party.
"I see," Lefiya said, her voice strained. "Well, I suppose we should all go, then. It would be rude not to accept their invitation."
Aiz nodded, seemingly unaware of the turmoil brewing within Lefiya. "Yes, I agree. It will be an opportunity to learn more about the Hestia Familia and their new member, David."
Lefiya's jaw tightened at the mention of David's name. She couldn't understand why Aiz was so interested in him, when Lefiya had been by Aiz's side for so long, supporting her and admiring her from afar.
As the Loki Familia members gathered, preparing to visit the Hestia Familia's headquarters, Lefiya found herself filled with a mix of emotions – excitement to see Aiz in a more relaxed setting, but also a growing sense of resentment towards David and the attention he was receiving.
