Chapter 55 - Chapter 55

I looked around at the chaos unfolding around us, my minions - Kevin, Bob, and Stuart - celebrating our victory. But the triumph was short-lived as I spotted the familiar figure of Silas Ramsbottom, the director of the Anti-Villain League, and his agents closing in on us.

"You again?" I called out, my voice laced with annoyance. "You're really annoying, you know that?"

Silas approached, his expression stern. "Phantom Spider, this has gone on long enough. It's time to put an end to your criminal activities."

I scoffed, placing my hands on my hips. "Oh, come on, Ramsbottom. Can't you just let us enjoy our moment of glory?"

The AVL agents moved in, their weapons raised. "I'm afraid I can't do that," Silas replied. "You and your minions are under arrest."

I rolled my eyes, feeling the familiar surge of frustration. "Really? You just can't leave us alone, can you?"

Silas took a step forward, his gaze unwavering. "Your actions have caused too much chaos and destruction. It's time to face the consequences."

I opened my mouth to retort, but I remembered Bob was still the King of England.

I stepped forward, holding up my hand to stop the AVL agents in their tracks. "Hold on a minute, Ramsbottom. You and your goons are trespassing on the sovereign territory of King Bob here. I don't think you have any authority to arrest us."

Silas' brow furrowed, his displeasure evident. "This has gone on long enough, Phantom Spider. Your crimes have caused too much damage. You and your minions need to be brought to justice."

I flashed him a cocky grin. "Justice, huh? Well, how about we make a deal instead?" I glanced over at Scarlet Overkill, who was still struggling against my webbing. "I'll hand over Scarlet Overkill to you, and in exchange, you and your AVL goons leave me and the minions alone. Sound fair?"

Silas considered my proposal, his eyes narrowing. "And what's to stop you from continuing your criminal activities after we leave?"

I shrugged nonchalantly. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe I'll just have King Bob here declare war on the AVL or something. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to cause a few problems for you."

Bob perked up at the mention of his name, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Ooh, war? Can I have a giant robot?"

I chuckled and patted him on the head. "Maybe, buddy. But only if Silas here agrees to my deal."

Silas looked conflicted, his gaze shifting between me, Scarlet, and Bob. I could see the gears turning in his head as he weighed his options. Finally, he let out a resigned sigh.

"Fine. I'll accept your deal, Phantom Spider. But if I so much as hear a whisper of you causing trouble, I won't hesitate to come back and arrest you and your minions."

I grinned triumphantly. "Excellent. It's a pleasure doing business with you, Ramsbottom."

I gestured to Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, who quickly scooped up the still-struggling Scarlet Overkill and handed her over to the AVL agents. Silas and his team wasted no time in securing her and escorting her away.

Once they were out of sight, I let out a relieved sigh and turned to my minions. "Well, that was a close one, guys. But I'd say we came out on top, wouldn't you agree?"

Bob bounced up and down excitedly. "Yay! We're the kings of England now!"

I chuckled and ruffled his hair. "That's right, Bob. And don't you forget it."

Kevin and Stuart exchanged a glance, their expressions uncertain.

"So, what do we do now, boss?" Kevin asked.

I tapped my chin, considering our next move. "Well, now that we've got the Crown Jewels and the title of King of England, I say we-"

I stood with my minions, Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, when suddenly we heard a loud chattering approaching us. To my surprise, a group of other Minions came into view, bundled up in winter coats.

"Hey, look! It's the rest of the Minions!" Bob exclaimed, bouncing up and down excitedly.

Kevin and Stuart lit up, waving enthusiastically. "Guys! Over here!"

The Minions noticed our group and hurried over, their high-pitched babbling filling the air. I watched as they greeted Kevin, Bob, and Stuart with joyful embraces, their goggles and overalls a familiar sight.

"Wow, you really have been busy, haven't you?" I said, chuckling as the Minions swarmed around us.

Kevin turned to me, a proud grin on his face. "Boss, let us introduce you to the rest of the Minions!"

He gestured to the group, and one by one, the Minions stepped forward, each one unique in their own way. There was Dave, the energetic one with a single eye, and Jerry, the Minion with two eyes who seemed a bit more reserved.

As they surrounded us, I could see the excitement and adoration in their expressions. It was clear they were thrilled to see their comrades, Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, and they seemed equally eager to meet me, their new boss.

"Welcome, everyone," I said, giving them a warm smile. "I'm David Miller, also known as the Phantom Spider. It's great to meet you all."

The Minions erupted into a chorus of cheers and excited chatter, their arms flailing enthusiastically. I couldn't help but laugh at their infectious energy.

I looked around at the sea of yellow, goggle-wearing Minions and felt a surge of excitement. These quirky little creatures could be the perfect addition to the Hestia Familia, helping to fill the empty halls of our new headquarters.

"Alright, listen up, everyone!" I called out, clapping my hands to get their attention. The Minions immediately fell silent, their eyes trained on me. "As you can see, Kevin, Bob, and Stuart have been busy. They've helped me become the Phantom Spider, the greatest villain in the world!"

The Minions erupted into cheers and applause, bouncing up and down with enthusiasm. I grinned, feeling a sense of pride at their reaction.

"But you know what?" I continued. "Being a villain is great and all, but it's not really my style. I'm more of a hero kind of guy. And that's why I have a proposition for all of you."

The Minions tilted their heads, their expressions curious. I took a deep breath and pressed on.

"I own a base, a headquarters if you will, and I need people to help run it. People who are loyal, hardworking, and a little bit crazy. And that's where you all come in."

I gestured to the Minions, who were listening intently. "I want you to join my Familia. We'll work together to protect the people of Orario and make it the best city it can be. What do you say?"

The Minions erupted into a frenzy of excited chatter, their arms flailing wildly. I couldn't help but laugh at their enthusiasm.

"I'll take that as a yes!" I exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. "Alright, everyone, let's get going! We've got a lot of work to do!"

The Minions cheered and followed me as I led the way back to the castle. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and excitement. With the Minions by my side, I knew we could accomplish anything.
