Valerie's POV
Paying for the things he bought didn't take five minutes; we both walked out of the shop without the things we bought, so I had to ask Theodore about it.
"The staff will help me with it and all I have to do is tip them," he explained and brought me to his car. "Stay here while I settle things," he instructed, and I sat in the car and carried my comic book to get myself busy.
I believe I have given Mr Theodore most of my time so I could read my book now, right?
"So which restaurant should we go to?" He asked me immediately as he entered the car.
"There are some leftovers at your house," I answered.
"Come on, Valerie," he groaned.
"You want a restaurant?"
"No," he was confusing me. "I'm not the one who's hungry, and if you want to eat what's at home, then that's fine."
My response to his statement was my silence so he started the car and accelerated out of the parking lot, getting into the road.
