Mateo's POV
When Valerie explained how miserable her life was compared to mine and stated that she did not relate to me not needing people in my life, I found it hard to admit that she was right about that.
She needed other people's intervention so she could live but I didn't need that because I was fine on my own. I had everything I wanted and was living fine so I did not need to care about what others thought about me.
I had to leave her in the kitchen because I couldn't get the thoughts about that topic out of my mind. So when I drove my car to my enormous garage, I discovered that I just needed to make Valerie taste my kind of life and see if she was ever going to mention what she said earlier.
When one has everything, there is no need to care about others or what society thinks because it would never have any effect on one's life.
