"H-Hot!" Everette yelled—the flames jumping to his coat. In one fluid move, he pulled it off him before swinging it around—trying to put out the fire to a degree before having to dodge an upward slash from Raven.
SWISH…!
Raven, having just freed his weapon with ease, immediately delivered an upward slash to was just narrowly dodged by Everette.
"Nnngh…!"
Everette tossed the burning coat towards Raven—the smell of its material drifting to his nose.
Raven swiped at the coat and cleaved it in half. This, however, did leave him wide open for an attack.
Everette, who had just widened the gap between them, summoned his spear in his left hand before quickly activating its skill—his body lighting up with a familiar yellowish colour.
He then subsequently brought back this arm before launching it forward—the spear crossing the gap between them in seconds. Raven pushed out his free hand towards it and caught it by the shaft.
