They both stared at each other. The guardian continued to burn in the background and release a tower of smoke into the sky. They both waited for whoever would make the first move.
Spoiler: it was Woody.
With mana coating his body, he blasted himself towards Jack. He raised his right forearm in a diagonal angle - he was planning to ram into Jack.
In response, Jack did the same. With both of their body coated in mana and quickly approaching each other, they clashed.
BAM! WHOOSH!
Their feet dug into the ground as they clashed their forearms against one another. The air around them was blown away. They both pulled back and shot out their fist towards each other.
Jack sent a right hook while Woody sent out a left. Their fist neared each other's faces and connected at the same time.
