Chapter 26 - Dip in the past [2]

"I don't get it, why are we stalking him?" Mammon asked as he and Asaroth sat down in the exact bus that Harris had bordered, they made sure to sit two seats behind him, so that they don't attract attention to themselves.

"We're not stalking him, we're collecting intel about his personal life to find weak points and exploit it." Asaroth explained, he had it harder to Mammon when it came to not attracting attention. He had to cast a spell on himself to hide his horns and wings but the spell had a duration.

"So advanced stalking." Mammon said.

"You're a lost cause." Asaroth groaned as he slouched in his seat. Suddenly the bus came to a stop and Harris got down, he was going to school.

"Great, now a new problem. How are we going to stalk him." Mammon asked as they followed Harris.

"It's not STALKING!" Asaroth yelled at Mammon. "And I always have a plan." Asaroth added as he snapped his fingers, Mammon looked at him confused until he turned to face a window.

"Woah! I'm invisible." Mammon said as he couldn't see his own reflection.

"We are invisible. Now let's go." Asaroth said as he dragged Mammon to the school. As usual the same eyes stared at Harris anytime he entered: Eyes filled with pity, hatred and disdain.

"I can't believe the school allowed this murderer back here."

"I mean, his dad is dead and the mother is going insane. How is he even living?"

"I wouldn't be surprised that he killed his own father."

Harris blocked all the negativity out. He knows that he's innocent, around last year the dead body of Evelyn Powers was found in the gym. An autopsy revealed she was brutally stabbed and used for a sort of blood ritual. And because Harris really loved studying the supernatural and spiritual he was blamed for her death. As the murder weapon was found in his locker, an occultic looking knife. The thing was he didn't kill her, like why would he kill his own cousin? No one in the school knew that excluding Harris and Evelyn. The thing was, he knew who the real killer was: David Mackenzie. The most notorious bully in school, Harris knew that he was the killer, how? He heard him bragging to his friends about killing Evelyn after she rejected him. He knew Harris would be blamed if it was done occultic style.

"Oh look who it is, the number one killer in school." David's voice sneered at Harris when he entered the class.

"Ignore him and maybe you can survive another year in this hell" Harris thought as he passed by David and sat down trying to block the world from him.

"Oi, I'm talking to ya! Got something in your ear?!" David asked but Harris still ignored him. A cruel smile played on David's lips.

"Ah I see what you're doing, you're thinking about that mad bitch that's your mom." David laughed cruelly. Those words stung Harris and he instantly felt his blood boiling, a vein popped out showing how irritated he was.

"I don't know about you Mammon but this Harris guy looks hot when he's angry. It's cute." Asaroth commented as he and Mammon sat on top of a tree and watched the scene unfold.

"Are you cheating on me? Asaroth how could you?!" Mammon said dramatically, placing his hand on his chest.

"Wha- Mammon, I'm not dating you! I'm straight." Asaroth screamed. Mammon gasped again.

"And now you're denying??? Our love?? How could you?!" Mammon whined still dramatically.

"I'm not your boyfriend! I like succubus you idiot!" Asaroth yelled.

"You're my husband!" Mammon yelled. Asaroth stared at Mammon like he had seen Jesus entering hell again. What did he even mean by that.

"You're a fool." Asaroth muttered as he turned back to watch Harris and David.

"Excuse me, what did you say about my mom?" Harris said getting up facing David, his eyes flashing with pure, unadulterated rage. David grinned knowing he had struck a nerve.

"Your mom is a mad bitch." David said. "A fuc-" Harris pushed him hard and made him fall against a table.

"At least she's not a prostitute like yours!" Harris yelled, David's eyes flashed with anger.

"Now it's personal." David said as he charged at Harris, fists clenched aiming for his midsection but Harris was quick and dodged, landing a blow right on David's jaw. David slammed Harris onto the teacher's desk and started punching him excessively. Harris grabbed both of David's hands and headbutted him hard. Finally a teacher came and sent them of to the principal's office. As much as David's mother was a prostitute, his father was a rich man so David only got detention. But Harris:

"You are hereby expelled"
