Anna's POV
Nicholas's surgery ended just a few hours before midnight, by then only his Mom, Jennifer, Mia and I were still waiting.
We were all tense and did not speak to each other, Selina occasionally threw a few glares at me and Jennifer too, but I intended to stay level headed no matter what.
The operation room door opened and we all stood up eagerly, the doctor informed us about his condition and in the next few minutes he was transferred to a ward.
I just want to see how he is before I can feel relieved and rest assured.
The nurses and doctor left after making sure he was okay and informed us.
Selina turned around and blocked the way.
"You are not coming in here".
Mia and Jennifer giggle as they walk past me to get inside.
I closed my eyes and wished she would disappear from my front when I opened them but she didn't.
