Nicholas's POV
"What makes you think I can make you the president?" He asked, his eyes looking at me with curiosity.
He is probably wondering what is going on in my head.
"Because you are the oldest generation in the family, all authority resides with you. I will only be successful in this if I have your support". I replied and he remained quiet for a few seconds before answering.
"Is this because of Anna?" He asked suddenly and I have no words to deny the truth.
"Partially, I can't keep waiting for fate to bring us together again. I'm going to create that fate myself.
I need to get her father's approval, being the president would go a mile in making that happen" I replied and he chuckled.
"What happens if you fail to get his approval?
Does that mean you will drop the post after you fail?"
"I won't give him any reason to refuse me. He is a proud man that sees value in wealth and position.".
