Election Day
At the Varon residence, the atmosphere is beyond tense.
Chairman Varon has been away for days, Nathaniel and Anthony had left very early in the morning to support their father.
Anna sat together with her Mom to keep her company. They were both asked not to leave the house till everything was over.
Anna's mind wandered all over the place.
After the election, her wedding to Rafe is supposed to be held in a few days.
And she still hasn't been able to get a hold of Nicholas.
And that has weighed heavily on her heart, is he fine?
She constantly ponders.
"Don't bother overthinking everything.
Everything will be fine" her mother's voice interrupted her thoughts.
Turning her gaze to her kind face, she sighed heavily.
"It's not possible Mom, I'm allegedly supposed to get married to him after the election!" She exclaimed in frustration.
