"Brothers, charge!"
"Break his legs first, then his arms! Drag him to the boss!"
The roar of nearly a hundred gangsters echoed down the street, marking one of the largest gang clashes in the history of Haishi City. But none of the bystanders could have imagined that their opponent was just one man—a young man dressed in jeans and a white shirt, his face almost unnaturally handsome.
Glancing at the rushing mob, Liu Di stood up slowly, extinguishing his cigarette. His right eye gleamed with a purple light.
"Since my body was enhanced, I've never had a chance to go all out," he murmured to himself. "Today, I hope you can make it worth my while."
With a wicked grin, Liu Di threw a punch.
The mob of over a hundred thugs, swinging fists and weapons in disarray, was no match for the analysis of the Demon Child. Everything had a pattern, whether it was the smallest opening or the slightest time gap. Liu Di controlled it all.
Bang!
The first thug, wielding a machete, was sent flying like a kite with a snapped string. Following him, countless other thugs were flung into the air like scattered flowers.
"What's going on?"
Bang!
Screams of pain echoed one after another. No one could withstand even a single punch or kick from Liu Di, and no one could so much as scratch him. The entire internet cafe seemed to rain bodies as thugs were sent flying into tables and computers, smashing them to pieces.
Liu Di moved like a dragon, weaving through the barrage of weapons without so much as a scratch. The thugs, on the other hand, were like panicked dogs, completely routed.
The internet cafe owner, stunned by the chaos, didn't even bother to assess his losses. He ducked behind the counter, trembling, praying not to get caught up in the violence.
It wasn't until ten minutes later that the scene quieted down. The cafe owner, shaking, peeked out to see the aftermath. His heart sank. The entire cafe was in ruins, and nearly a hundred thugs lay sprawled across the floor, groaning in pain. But the young man in the white shirt stood tall, untouched.
Casually straightening his slightly disheveled hair, Liu Di lit another cigarette, muttering to himself, "Too weak."
The cafe owner shuddered. Was this even human? A single person took on a hundred, and not a scratch on him?
"Hey… you," Liu Di said, nudging a nearby thug with his foot. "Go back and tell your boss to send everyone."
Back at the top floor of the Misa nightclub, Black Fox, hiding in the storage room, found the wait unbearable. How could it take so long for a hundred men to catch one guy?
Bang!
The door to the storage room flew open as Ah Feng staggered in, carrying a dazed thug over his shoulder.
"Boss, our hundred men… they've all been taken out!" Ah Feng stammered.
"What?!"
Black Fox nearly fell off his stool in shock.
"How many were there on the other side?"
Black Fox's heart pounded. He guessed that if a hundred of his men were taken out, the other side must have had at least two hundred.
"A single person… That guy's too strong, it's like he's not even human!" the injured thug groaned, struggling to lift his head, his front teeth missing.
"What? Just one?"
Black Fox's eyes widened in terror.
"Yeah, just one guy. He said we should send everyone."
Black Fox's mind reeled. One person took out a hundred of his men? Was this guy a monster? And he was also a hacker, capable of knowing all his secrets. When had he ever offended such a demon?
"Boss, he's not here for a fight," Ah Feng trembled. "I think he's here to wipe us out!"
Hearing this, Black Fox snapped back to reality.
"No way! He's not getting away with this!"
Black Fox scrambled to his feet, shouting in panic, "Go get Razor, Iron Fist, Jack, and the others! They're in the club—they're the top fighters in the underground ring! They'll take that guy down!"
After Ah Feng made urgent calls, Black Fox finally breathed a little easier. Seven of the top ten fighters from the underground ring were at the Misa nightclub, including experts in Muay Thai, knife fighting, wrestling, and even a European strongman. Each of them was a one-man army.
With all seven attacking at once, that guy didn't stand a chance!
"Don't worry, boss. Razor and the others are on their way down—they'll definitely bring him back," Ah Feng said, nervously standing by the storage room door, too scared to leave.
"Good…" Black Fox forced a calm expression, though he was anything but.
Bang!
Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the floor, making the ground shake.
"What was that?!"
Black Fox's heart skipped a beat.
"Boss, it's bad! Before Razor and the others could get out, that guy broke in! He's already on the second floor!" a panicked thug shouted as he ran in.
"Damn it!"
Black Fox turned to flee. "Get to my office—those doors are bulletproof!"
In the top-floor office of the Misa nightclub, only Ah Feng, Black Fox, and Black Fox's personal black-haired beauty remained. The room was eerily quiet.
Bang!
Bang!
The sound of footsteps echoed through the floor, each one sending a shiver down the spines of the three inside. Although Black Fox still sat behind his desk, there was no trace of the authority he once wielded over Haishi City.
He was trembling. The sounds were getting closer, and Black Fox was on the verge of despair. It was like the Grim Reaper was coming for him. Even now, Black Fox was clueless.
Who was this guy? How had he offended him?
Clack, clack…
Footsteps echoed closer outside the door. Cold sweat dripped from Black Fox's face.
Bang!
Crash!
Dust and splinters filled the air as the office door burst open, the heavy metal frame twisted and broken. Through the smoke, a massive figure, standing two meters tall, slowly stepped in.
This kid is huge!
Wait!
Black Fox's pupils shrank. When he recognized the figure, his body shuddered again. It was Jack, the European strongman from the underground ring! The massive figure was completely unresponsive, like a pile of mud, already unconscious.
Behind him, a young man in a white shirt casually held Jack by the neck, lifting him in the air like he weighed nothing.
With a casual stride, Liu Di stepped over the threshold, tossing the 150-kilogram Jack onto Black Fox's desk like a sack of onions.
Black Fox stared at Jack, who lay limp like a dead fish, feeling as if he'd fallen into an icy pit.
Liu Di slowly sat down on a nearby sofa.
Clink…
A brass Zippo lighter ignited a cigarette.
In the next moment, Liu Di's thoughts stirred.
A thousandfold—a hero's aura activated!
