Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Maundy Thursday Part 2

Maundy Thursday, present-day Philippines

Warm sunlight filtered through the dense foliage of the rainforest. Birds chirped happily and everything was serene. The breeze gently runs through the leaves of the trees, making them sway.

The peaceful forest was disturbed by an old Dao tree, creaking and twisting its trunk. The massive trunk glowed and the outline of a door suddenly appeared. As the glow vanished, a group of old men and women passed through. One of the ladies, holding a cane made of twisted tree vines adorned with gold and glowing gems and stones sat down in the clearing near the Dao tree.

"Biringan and Queen Carolina already received the message. She is in charge of informing the other Kingdoms in their realm about the impending rise of the Fallen. Other lightworkers in the land far North had already contacted the Druids, Knights, and, Lightworkers to prepare for the arrival. As prophesized, they wanted to bring the Fallen to Ophir. The Aztecs and Mayan Priests also communicated with the Kingdom of Kaibabawans near them to mislead the Fallen. We cannot delay our Father's coming anymore. Everything is already predestined. The war is already starting. All we can do is prepare the future generation for the battle that will involve all the seven worlds." The old lady said to the congregation.

"Our Antingeros are already ready. According to the divine Garuda, with the rise of the fallen from the land far North, the Amaranhig and Aswang from Kaidadalman will also cross over to distract us. This is according to the Kapre who was not poisoned in the Kaidadalman. They said they will continue to resist the taint as long as the Diwata will supply them of the suppressant." A stick-thin man with a hunched back informed the group.

"It seems that everything is in place. The Mayan ruler will sacrifice his daughter for the greater good. Their priests already communicated with the Mountain and Thunder Deity to make a false myth and attract the Fallen. We will pray for their souls to the Father. Their sacrifice will be remembered." The old lady with the cane added.

"The babaylans of Pan-ay in Maja-as are already informed of the girl born on the day of the Red Moon. According to the stars, it would be in two days." she continued with a sigh.

"The Diwata in Manyakiya is already ready. King Ramir and his legion are already marching. The lower-ranked soldiers from Bathala's realm are ready to descend anytime. The angels from Purgatorto are also ready. The babaylans from the seven great tribes are already there. The Tungaws from Kaidadalman, the captured souls of the heroes from hell, and the repentant demons are also on standby." A young woman in woven traditional garb told their leader.

"Remember their names in your heart. Sing their sacrifice in your Epikos, they understood that to resist the fallen, the seven rings of protection needed to be established." their leader told them while looking them straight in the eyes, projecting the importance and severeness of the task.

"Understood" The group of seven chorused.

"It is time. We need to enter deep slumber, we only have seven chances of being woken. We may only meet each other at the end of this realm. Good luck to you my brothers and sisters. Until we meet." Their leader bowed.

As their session ended, seven Dao trees lit up, groaned, groaned, and twisted. The imprint of a door appeared, and each person entered one door. As the light disappeared, the forest returned to its previous state.

The same scenario happened in seven different locations in the world. Their wise men and women, all entered into slumber, only to be woken in times of great disaster. Their legend only passed by word of mouth, never written, never recorded, only sung through old hymns.
