As things calmed down in Hammon, less and less people flooded the train station.
Now, a month after the Hammon Disaster, as people referred to it, the station was back to its regular schedule and traffic.
A few dozen people waited on the platform. Most were in cheap or below average clothes, but a pair stood out from the crowd.
The man wore an expensive, dark gray suit, with a similar colored bowler hat. In his left hand, a black, metallic walking cane rested. There was a gold ring with a gray gemstone on his right hand. His arm was wrapped around the woman's.
She wore a long, bright blue dress and a pair of elegant gloves. The clothing was large and warm, perfect for the harsh weather, which assaulted Hammon in the past week.
Her hair was nicely done. It was kept together with a few blue ribbons, and on top of her head, a small stylish hat rested. Connected to the hat, a small veil covered a bit of her forehead.
