David began another live stream with the hateful comments from his viewers prominently displayed in the comment section. David responded to every insult from the Ting-tok users with a smile—not the innocent smile he used to have, but one that provoked anger. David exploited their rage during his live stream to boost sales.

Right after David finished his live stream, he asked Richard,
"Are there still job openings for talents?"
Richard replied, "Yes, there are."
"I want to recommend someone to fill the spot."
Richard, already aware of David's public speaking skills, believed David would recommend a good sales/talent candidate.
"Sure, tell him or her to send a CV," Richard said.
David agreed. He then walked to the bus stop, thinking, "Maybe this will make it easier for me to use Lisa." A smile crossed his face.
