Murong Man's unease peaked.
She tried to appear calm as she looked at the Second Prince and Yun Weiwei, "Your Highness, wasn't sister still under house arrest? How come she is here with you today?"
Yun Weiwei immediately sneered, "Oh, sister Manman, we were all so tragically deceived by you. If Guard Shi had not fled out of guilt today, we would still be unaware of the illicit affair between you two!"
Murong Man exclaimed in shock, "What are you talking about, sister? I don't understand? What happened to Guard Shi?"
"Your beloved has already run away! Someone saw him leaving the city this morning, and by now he has long since vanished without a trace!"
Hearing that Guard Shi had not been captured yet made Murong Man's panic subside slightly. Although she didn't understand why Guard Shi would run away, or how Yun Weiwei knew about her affair with Guard Shi, without him here to confront, there was no evidence.
