"What would you like to eat?"
Mrs. Marlin asked gently.
Mu Ying looked at Mrs. Marlin, who was skillfully serving customers behind the bar. To be honest, she was quite surprised.
This is Bruce Tavern!
Does Marin's Bakery have a partnership with Bruce Tavern?
And where is Uncle Bruce? Mu Ying looked around the tavern; he wasn't at the card tables, nor in the kitchen. Huh? He was actually cleaning a lamp?
It looked like they finally got around to dusting off that gray, dusty lamp.
His messy hair had been tidied up, and there was no sign of drunkenness. He actually looked pretty decent.
Mrs. Marlin, seeing where Mu Ying's gaze was directed, said with a smile, "He's pursuing me, and I've agreed to give it a try."
"Oh!" Mu Ying took another meaningful look at Uncle Bruce. Not bad, him!
"We've introduced a new dessert wine set meal that Bruce and I recently came up with, at a 30% discount. Would you like to try it?" Mrs. Marlin suggested.
