"Phew! That was difficult."
Rose muttered once she came out. She found Asher panting. The place was different. She thought she would see the manor but they were at a place that looked deserted.
She thought with the commotion they made, at least someone would be interested in checking it out. Maybe the Magic News channel? But no one was there. Weird.
"I'll have to take her to the Moon Charmers."
Rose understood.
"Let's go."
Asher shook his head.
"You need to stay here. Both of us can't leave. Till this barrier is sealed."
Rose felt reluctant. She wanted to go see what was up with Cora but her responsibility was here.
"Okay, you go. Talk to me like we do every time."
Asher nodded.
He walked a few steps. Rose kept watching him. She wouldn't move till he was in her visibility range.
He ran back and kissed her.
A fierce and quick kiss.
"We will talk later."
