"Hahaha!"
There was laughter.
Rose felt the pain slowly easing. But she still acted as if she was experiencing heart-wrenching pain. She wasn't a fool to tell him that she wasn't hurting. At all.
But who would tell Klint? He ran and hugged her. He was trying to send his magic to heal her. Rose rejected it strongly.
"Don't!" She gasped as if breathing was difficult, "Don't heal me, Klint."
She yelled in pain. She desperately hoped he could understand her meaning. She wasn't giving many signals but still, she wanted him to know that she was okay.
"How could you do this?"
Klint yelled at his father.
Rose clenched his shirt in her hands hoping to tell him. But he wasn't listening. He was all focused on his rage.
"You didn't have to hurt her."
