6:30 PM, at Lin Qianqian's home, the tutoring session officially began.
Last week, Pu Sangzhi had assigned Lin Qianqian the task of memorizing 70 words in a week.
Now, it was time for the official assessment.
Pu Sangzhi would say a word aloud, and Lin Qianqian would write down the word in silence, including the Chinese translation, of course.
Pu Sangzhi would usually repeat the word three times, and after the third time, she would pause and wait for Lin Qianqian to finish writing. Once Lin Qianqian was done, she would continue saying the next words.
Lin Qianqian had made significant progress during this period, although she still got most of the words wrong. Nevertheless, she also got quite a few correct.
This clearly showed that Lin Qianqian was indeed in a learning state and had actually begun to study seriously.
