Pu Sangzhi had never dreamed that opening a window could reveal such an unlucky face.
She initially wanted to close the window out of instinct, but just before she was about to do so, she suddenly realized something and furrowed her brows to question, "Huo Feng, are you stalking me?"
Huo Feng cracked a dry smile, "No, I was just passing by and happened to see you and your mom. You think it's fate?"
No one would believe his words.
Pu Sangzhi "hmmphed" dismissively and without showing any pleasantness, she promptly shut the window.
"Hey, I really was just passing by, I didn't lie to you."
Huo Feng hurriedly knocked on the window, stretching his head and eagerly gazed through the blurred glass at the faint shadow of Pu Sangzhi.
"I came this morning to look for my sister, who would've known I'd see you at the market. At that moment, my spirit followed you, and unconsciously I ended up here. Sangzhi, I'm not lying to you!"
"Sangzhi, don't be mad, okay? I'm telling the truth."
