That's right, Xiaomi was previously engaged to the child of one of my old comrades-in-arms, the two kids grew up together, got along quite well, and were similar in age, so we decided to set their engagement early on.
Later on, we managed to secure spots for the kids to study abroad, they were among the last children we sent overseas, and back then we just wanted them to see more of the world.
