"Jingting…" Rong Wei's eyes widened in shock as she stared at him in disbelief.
She had never anticipated such a drastic turn in events.
"Did I… did I do something wrong?" she asked, clinging onto her last shred of hope. Otherwise, why would he suddenly want to break up?
"No," he stood up and rubbed his brows, "it's just that I've realized that I have no feelings for you."
Rong Wei still wouldn't give up, "We can take it slow…"
"I don't have the patience." Huo Jingting turned and walked out of the room, going downstairs.
By purposefully switching from one woman to another, he had wanted to test whether she would get jealous, to see if she truly did not care at all about him.
Now, the result was clear: she indeed did not care.
