[The Expressionless Awakener]
2 years have passed since that encounter with that one monster.
Since then, i have been cautious around my surroundings,
and always running straight to my dorm after hanging out with my friends, Sometimes blend in with the extras.
Currently, we are at the huge cafeteria, eating and chatting with my 3 friends.
Jacob carries out the conversation.
"I heard there is a big party held by the school next week."Jacob said as he ate his food on the table.
"Oh yeah, I heard it was a big one at that."Fynn responds as he ate his food.
"A pwardy huh..?" [a party huh...?] I mumbled as i chucked the food on my mouth.
"It's a different kind of party tho, I heared the entire school will attend it." Lavyn muttered after gulping the food.
"Bud wat es de pwardy por anewuy?" [But what is the party for anyway?] I asked as i still chucked the food in my mouth.
"Kim, You shouldn't speak with your mouth full or you'll choke." Lavyn said as he puts a worried face.
I gulped and swallowed the food, and asked again.
"What is the party for anyway?"
Jacob: "Well... i heard that the party is celebrating their 50th School Anniversary."
"School Anniversary?" I said as i tilted my head and the small hair on the top resembled a confused mark.
Jacob:"A party which celebrates the school anniversary on which the day the school was built."
"Oh." I mumbled and munched on the food silently.
"Didn't the teacher said that we all need to be there since it is a very important party?" Fynn asks as he put hes fork and spoon on the plate.
"Oh yea, The teacher did said that. We need to be there for our attendance." Lavyn replied.
The bell suddenly rang.
Ring ring ring...
"Seems like we need to hurry." I silently muttered.
We stood up and took our plates to the lady and went back to our classes.
As we walk through the hallways, Jacob glanced at the pretty woman that was sitting at the bench nearby the garden roses.
"Look! There is a pretty girl near the garden roses." Jacob spoke as he glared at the woman.
"Oh, her?" Lavyn spoke and replied to jacob.
"I heard she is part of the skylock class."
Lavyn said.
"Skylock?" I asked mumbly.
"Skylock class is one of the top classes in the school."Lavyn replied.
"How could you tell?" Fynn asked with a quite expression.
"Will as you can see, That beautiful woman is pretty popular around school and you can even tell the skylock drawing behind the back of her uniform."
Lavyn replied back to fynn.
"Oh.." I silently muttered.
'I think that girl is quite familiar, I think she is one of the supporting characters. I think her name was..' I thought hard while trying to figure it out.
"I think her name was.. Losania Dove."
Fynn said as he glanced at the woman.
'Oh yeah, Losania dove, a supporting character.'
'She had a beautiful and pretty face, had long black silky hair and beautiful golden eyes.'
'She also had a crush on the protagonist but it didn't really last that long...right?'
"Oh well..." I mumbled quietly.
As we continued to walk through the huge hallways, my friend, Fynn suddenly asked a question.
"Did you know about the guy named, Alexander Grace?"
Jacob:"Yeah, what about him?"
Fynn:"He is very popular recently, I heard he got into the Auroraseas class."
"You mean, the top highest class in the academy?"Lavyn Responds.
"From what the rumours say, he is a very quiet and cold-hearted person, but has a very handsome face."
Jacob says with a quiet expression.
"All of the girls in the school know him."Lavyn said as he looked at jacob.
'Alexander Grace..... I forgot to mention his descriptions before.'I thought.
'Alexander Grace... Namely Kwan jihu, was a normal and plain office worker before he got into an accident.'
'he already had a miserable life even before the reincarnation.'
'I think he lost both his parents because of a disease when he was 6 years old.'
'And had to work at his uncle's restaurant so he could at least eat food on the table, Before he got kicked out at the age of 18.'
'pretty much he had a miserable life throughout his years, and the only thing that made him had a reason to live is the novel he had read.'
'i guess we had a similar life...' I thought as i looked down on my shoes.
"Kim, are you ok?" Jacob suddenly asks.
"Oh, Sorry.. i was in a daze." I responded.
"Hmm.... Well... ok, just ask if you aren't ok and will be there for you, alright? anyway, as i was saying..."
They continued to talk and chatter.
as they walk through the hallways.
We had atleast 30 minutes left before class. so we had time to chat at that moment.
I looked down on my shoes again as i walked with them.
'I forgot to mention another thing about the protagonist.'
'The protagonist had a handsome face after reincarnation. I mean, He was reincarnated as one of the Grace families, which has one of the families most beautiful children,
Most likely.'
'He had the darkest hair and had the brightest ocean-like cold blue eyes, and had a muscular face.'
'He is also very tall.'
'Unlike hes past life, he had a much luxurius life in his new life.'
'A similarity of me but a pretty much normal life.'
'I guess the protagonist wants to change things during this novel. He pretty much wanted a normal life aswell. but wanted to change things in the novel if he wanted that, i think.'
'I wouldn't care less about it tho.'
I thought as i looked up to look for my friends.
"By the way, what time is it?" Fynn asks.
"I think its 12:58 at the moment." Lavyn responded as he looked at his watch.
All of them including me, went quiet.
Then had a realization.
"SHOOT WERE LATE!!" Jacob screams as we hurriedly ran to our classes.
we had different classes, so we went into different directions.
As i hurriedly went to my class, I arrived at class just in time.
I sat on a random seat as usual and listened to the lectures and lessons.
After class, I went to meet up my friends, We usually hang out by the tree near the school. it isn't really too far nor too close to the school. So it was a perfect place to hang out with.
As i went there, i only saw Fynn and Jacob by the tree.
"Guys! wheres Lavyn?" I Approached them asking.
"Oh, Lavyn? He still isn't here yet. I think hes still in class." Fynn responded.
Jacob:"By the way, We didn't got that pretty girls number!"
"Why do we need her number?" I asked with my head tilted.
"Well... y,know.. be her friend i guess..?" Jacob was flustered by the question.
"Well, i guess we forgot to ask her. Maybe next time." Fynn responded.
Then fynn got right into the point.
"By the way, during lunch we talked about the party that the school held right?"
Fynn asked glancing at the tree leaves.
"Yes, Why'd you ask?" Jacob responded.
"Well... aren't you guys gonna come?" Fynn mumbled.
"Im not really into parties but since its for attendance, i would come." I responded with an expressionless face.
"I would come too." Jacob responded aswell.
"What about you, Fynn?" Jacob asks as he glanced at Fynn for a moment.
"Well... Since you guys will come, ofcourse i would come aswell." Dynn responded glancing back at jacob.
Suddenly, Lavyn ran hurriedly while screaming.
"Guys..!! Sorry im late.." He said as he was exhausted from the running.
"The teacher....Huff....had to do...huff..extra lessons for us.."
"It's fine, as long as your here, we wont go anywhere except this place." Jacob responded.
"By the way, Will you also come to the party next week lavyn?" I asked as i tilted my head.
"Were you guys talking about the party we talkdd about during lunch..?" Lavyn Asked as he sat behind the tree.
"I guess you could say that." Fynn responded.
"I would come, ofcourse. Its an important party held by the school.. Who would miss it anyway?"
"Well..I was just asking." I muttered.
"By the way, about the popular guy Alexander Grace, Isn't he like a bit... of y,know.. too popular?"
Jacob suddenly asked.
"What about him?" I responded.
"Im kinda...y,know envious."
"Well, Almost all of the boys are envious."
Fynn said as he glanced at jacob.
"I mean.. That guy, He has everything.. but don't you thin-"
Before finishing his sentence, I spoke up.
"We shouldn't gossip about him. No one knows whether or not he has been through alot." I spoke, glancing at jacob with a cold face.
Honestly, I felt cringe-worthy after saying that.
"I wasn't gossiping about him...jeez... sorry.." Jacob apologized.
"It's fine, Its better talking about something else instead of gossiping someones back." I replied.
"But then again..Still a bit envious of that guy.." Jacob mumbled quietly.
"Anyway, Its almost time for curfew, we should go back to our dorms." Fynn spoke.
"Oh yeah" Jacob responded.
Lavyn was asleep during this whole conversation. So I tried to wake him up.
"Lavyn... It's almost time for curfew."
Lavyn suddenly woke up from the sudden disturbance.
Lavyn Yawns and responded "Oh..ok."
We all went back inside the school and went to our dorms.
"See you guys tommorow!" Jacob spoke as he went inside hes dorm.
As we said our goodbyes, we all went back to our dorms, Including me.
".....I wonder what the two protagonists are doing."
I silently mumbled.
Despite not knowing much of the story, i still knew im in a novel. but then again, i wanted my life to be normal. so i usually tried to forget that this world is a novel.
Boredom suddenly hits me.
I sighed deeply and went to the special room, which is the music room the school prepared.
'Let's just play a bit and then go back to sleep.' I thought
I sat on the chair and played the piano.
Harmonious music played from each beat. I relaxed instantly as i played.
Each melody was calm and relaxing. especially when its at night.
The moon shines brightly and reflects the window nearby the music room.
The atmosphere and the Harmonious music fit well together.
It was beautiful.

After playing, I went back to my bedroom.
I yawned as i laid on my bed.
I looked at the ceiling for a while.
'I wonder.... What is it really like to be a character in the novel?..' I thought of it deeply.
I dozed off after that and went to sleep peacefully.
