The man's hands hovered over the keyboard, unmoving. Avery saw that he had nothing left to write and pulled the laptop away from him.
As her control lifted from his mind, he gasped for breath, his eyes wide with fear at what he'd just revealed.
Avery didn't make him forget his actions and it was clear to him that he had spilled what he wasn't supposed to. His body trembled.
"What did you make me do?!" He screamed, his voice shaking with panic as he stared at Avery with bloodshot eyes.
"Aiden, leave," Avery ordered, her gaze on the trembling man, who clawed at his throat in terror.
Even Lucas could smell the fear radiating from him. 'Is the Doctor that dangerous to cause such a reaction?' he thought, watching the man shaking so badly and trying to reach for the laptop with crazy eyes.
