The afternoon sun shone through the huge trees.

This sound repeated itself continuously, a bullet rippled through the air and borrowed into a tree. If you looked closer at the tree, you would see traces of a target mark drawn on it and the bullet only drilled through the outer layer almost touching the bull's eye.
''Almost. Try again.'' Avery's serious tone echoed through the forest and Lucas held the gun firmly and looked at his target with a sharpened gaze before shooting again. Avery watched his serious demeanour and wondered how she got here. Let her rewind to two hours ago.
