Zack's eyes were bloodshot. He had investigated all of Alpha's business competitors but couldn't find any trace of him or hear any news. His head was bent over his desk, while Eric typed furiously on the computer.
''Bang!''
Eric's fist pounded on the desk in frustration, his hand running through his hair. ''I can't find anything-'' Eric was cut short by Zack's ringing phone.
''Hello,'' Zack answered in a tired tone but quickly sat up when he heard the familiar voice on the other line. He immediately put it on loudspeaker.
''Alpha!'' Both of them shouted in relief, their hearts dropping in instant relief.
''Someone will call you to direct you to where I am. Follow his instructions and let no one know you're coming to me. Also, buy the things I've sent to your message,'' Lucas said, a sigh escaping his lips.
''I can't say more on the phone. Be careful, no one should know you're coming to me,'' he warned again, before ending the call.
